OUR STORY

The term “Commons” dates back to medieval English where it was used to describe an area that people used in everyday life. With this in mind, The Commons of Fremont is a place for the community to gather and enjoy amazing food, quality entertainment and fun.

In 1977, Randy Busch, “Red” Meyette and Pete Dore began their partnership with Westwood Lanes. In 1987 after Pete retired, Randy and Red purchased the property that is now The Commons of Fremont complex – Brew Works, Fremont Lanes, Summer Breeze, and Private Event Room. These fine establishments serve quality food, entertainment and fun to the citizens of Fremont and the surrounding areas.

In 2017, after more than 40 years of serving the community, Randy and Red decided it was time to slow down. At that point Nancy and Monica joined the team. They will continue to build on the foundation that Randy and Red laid for a family entertainment complex.

The Commons...An Uncommon Experience.
